This specific 10wt Green fluid is formulated primarily for fork damper applications. Always check your specific shock's service manual, as rear shocks often require different viscosities or specialized damper fluids to function correctly.

Fox generally recommends a full service, including a fluid change, every 125 hours of riding or once a year, whichever comes first. If you ride in particularly muddy or dusty conditions, you may want to service your fork more frequently to prevent internal wear.

The green color is a specific identifier used by Fox to distinguish this 10wt damper fluid from their other suspension oils, such as the gold or red variants. It helps mechanics and riders quickly identify the correct fluid during maintenance and ensures the right oil is used in the right chamber.
