Fizik Arione

The Arione 00 is the top-of-the-line model in the Arione range, featuring a full carbon shell and braided carbon rails. It is designed specifically for riders who prioritize minimal weight and maximum stiffness for professional-level racing.

While it is built for racing, the Arione shape is known for its long, flat profile which allows for multiple hand and body positions. However, because it uses a rigid carbon shell, it is best suited for riders who prefer a firm, supportive platform over heavy padding.

The Arione 00 uses 7x9mm oval braided carbon rails. You will need a seatpost clamp that is compatible with oval-shaped rails, as standard round-rail clamps may not provide a secure fit.

The full carbon shell is engineered to provide a degree of 'wing flex,' which allows the saddle to move slightly with your pedaling motion. This helps reduce friction and improves comfort without sacrificing the power transfer required for high-intensity efforts.

The Arione 00 is primarily designed for road cycling. While it can be used on other surfaces, its stiff carbon construction and racing-focused profile are optimized for smooth road surfaces rather than the vibration and impact absorption needed for off-road terrain.
