Karakoram Tip-Lock

The Tip-Lock is designed to mount directly onto the existing tip clip pattern found on most splitboards. It is a universal upgrade, but you should verify that your current board uses a standard mounting hole configuration before purchasing.

Active Joining pulls the two halves of your splitboard together under tension rather than just holding them in place. This creates a tighter, more solid connection that mimics the feel of a solid snowboard, especially when riding firm or icy snow.

The lever is designed for easy, one-handed operation. It is large enough to manipulate even while wearing thick winter gloves or mittens, allowing you to lock or unlock your board quickly at the transition.

Dupont Zytel is a high-performance engineered plastic known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and impact resistance. It is specifically chosen for this application because it can withstand the repetitive stress and cold temperatures of backcountry riding without becoming brittle.

Installation is straightforward and typically requires only a standard screwdriver. Since it utilizes your existing mounting pattern, you simply remove your old clips and bolt the Tip-Lock system into the same holes.
