Avid Disc Post Spacer Kit

This kit acts as an adapter that offsets your brake caliper, allowing you to run a larger brake rotor than your frame or fork was originally designed to accommodate. It is a simple way to increase your braking power by sizing up your rotors.

This kit supports three primary configurations: moving from a 160mm to a 180mm rotor, a 140mm to a 160mm rotor, or a 180mm to a 200mm rotor.

Titanium bolts are included to provide a high strength-to-weight ratio. They are more durable and corrosion-resistant than standard steel bolts while helping to shave a few grams off your bike's total weight.

While these are designed for standard post-mount systems, they are specifically engineered for Avid's CPS (Convex/Concave) alignment system. If your brake calipers use a different alignment method, these spacers may not seat correctly.

You will need a standard hex key (Allen wrench) to remove your existing caliper bolts and secure the new ones. It is also recommended to use a torque wrench to ensure the titanium bolts are tightened to your manufacturer's specific torque settings.
