Eclat Onyx Stem

Cold forging aligns the metal's grain structure, which significantly increases the stem's overall strength and durability compared to standard CNC machining. It also allows for a smoother, cleaner finish that looks more refined on your bike.

The Eclat Onyx is designed for a standard 1-1/8" steerer tube, which is the industry standard for almost all modern BMX forks. If your current setup uses a standard threadless fork, this stem will be compatible.

STC is a specialized machining pattern inside the handlebar clamping area that creates a high-friction surface. It bites into the handlebar knurling to prevent slipping or rotation, ensuring your bars stay locked in place even during heavy impacts.

At 11.15 ounces, the Onyx is a solid, mid-weight option. While it isn't the absolute lightest stem on the market, the internal machining removes unnecessary material to keep the weight manageable without sacrificing the structural integrity provided by the cold-forging process.

A top-load stem raises your handlebar height compared to a front-load design. This generally provides a more upright, comfortable riding position and makes it easier to pull up on the front end for manuals and bunnyhops.
