This axle is designed specifically for many Japanese and Shimano front hubs. However, because hub standards vary, we recommend measuring your current axle's length and thread pitch to ensure a perfect match before purchasing.

4130 alloy steel is a high-strength material often used in aerospace applications. When heat-treated, as this axle is, it provides excellent durability and structural integrity without becoming brittle, making it a reliable choice for long-term use.

Rolled threads are stronger and smoother than cut threads. This process ensures that your cones and locknuts thread on easily during assembly, reducing the risk of cross-threading and making maintenance much simpler.

This is a hollow axle. This design allows for the use of a quick-release (QR) skewer, which is standard for most front hubs requiring this type of replacement part.

The best way to confirm compatibility is to remove your existing axle and measure it from end to end. This axle measures 110mm in length, so it should match your current axle's total length exactly for proper fitment.
