Continental SuperSport Plus (Folding) Tire

The PlusBreaker is a highly elastic sub-tread layer designed to deflect sharp urban debris like glass and thorns. Unlike stiffer puncture belts that can make a tire feel dead, this material maintains a responsive and lively ride quality.

The SuperSport Plus features a slick tread pattern, which is optimized for dry to damp pavement. While it offers excellent grip on smooth urban surfaces, it is not designed for heavy rain or loose, muddy conditions.

The folding bead uses a flexible aramid fiber instead of a rigid steel wire, making the tire significantly lighter and easier to pack into a bag. It installs just like a wire-bead tire, though you may find it slightly more supple when seating it on the rim.

These tires are designed for 700c wheels with a 622mm bead seat diameter, which is the standard for most modern road and hybrid bikes. Be sure to check your frame clearance to ensure the specific width you choose—23mm, 25mm, or 28mm—will fit comfortably between your brake calipers and chainstays.
