The clear silicone strips are specifically designed to maintain traction even when damp. While no tape is completely slip-proof in a downpour, the silicone provides a noticeable advantage over standard cork or synthetic tapes by preventing your hands from sliding.

The adhesive is designed to hold the tape securely in place while riding, but it is not a permanent bond. When it comes time to replace the wraps, you should be able to peel them off without leaving significant residue on your handlebars.

Not at all. The nylon is tightly woven to be durable, but it has a smooth, fabric-like texture that feels comfortable against the skin. It is less tacky than rubberized grips, which many riders prefer for longer distances.

The cush foam offers a moderate level of vibration dampening. It is thick enough to absorb road buzz and minor bumps, making it a great choice for gravel or endurance riding without feeling overly bulky or disconnected from the bike.

Because the tape uses a self-adhesive backing, it is best to get the tension and overlap right on the first try. While you can adjust it slightly during the initial install, pulling it off repeatedly may weaken the adhesive's grip.
