Chromag Phase 30 Front Wheel

The Phase 30 is designed as a lighter-weight alternative to the BA30. While it maintains a similar profile, the construction is optimized to save weight for trail and all-mountain riding without sacrificing the durability Chromag is known for.

The rim features reinforced bead-walls specifically engineered to resist impacts and minimize the risk of sidewall cuts. This added material helps the wheel hold up better when you encounter sharp rocks or square-edge hits on the trail.

Many rims are pinned or sleeved at the seam, which can be a weak point. The Phase 30 is fusion welded and ground smooth, creating a seamless joint that is actually the strongest section of the rim, ensuring it won't split upon hard impacts.

The R4 hub is built for longevity, utilizing a Chromoly steel axle that provides excellent stiffness. Combined with a robust bearing assembly, it is designed to handle the stresses of aggressive trail riding while remaining easy to maintain.

The nipple and spoke bed are specifically oriented to match the angle of the spoke. This alignment reduces stress and fatigue at the nipple hole, preventing the common issue of spoke pull-through and creating a more stable, long-lasting wheel build.
