Planet Bike Century Gel Pads

These pads are designed to be placed directly onto your handlebars before you wrap them with your handlebar tape. You simply position them where you want extra cushioning and then secure them in place by wrapping your tape over the top.

They add a noticeable layer of comfort, but they are low-profile enough that most riders find the grip diameter remains comfortable. If you prefer a very thin, minimalist feel, you might find the added thickness takes some getting used to.

These are specifically designed for drop handlebars found on road bikes. They are shaped to fit the curves and hand positions typical of road bars, so they won't be effective or easy to install on flat bars.

While they work with most standard tapes, they are optimized for use with comfort gel tape. Using a high-quality, slightly stretchy tape will make the installation process much easier and ensure the pads stay securely in place.

Each package contains four gel pads. This is enough to cover both sides of your drop handlebars, providing cushioning for the drops and the hoods.
