The coil spring provides a more linear, supple feel, offering excellent small-bump sensitivity and consistent performance throughout the travel. It feels more planted and predictable, though it is heavier than an air fork and less adjustable for rider weight without swapping the spring.

Sweep Adjust is a simplified compression damping control that combines low-speed and high-speed compression into a single lever. You can easily toggle between an open setting for maximum traction and a firmer setting for climbing or smoother trails by simply turning the dial.

This fork is specifically designed for 29-inch wheels with a 15 x 110 mm Boost axle spacing. Before purchasing, ensure your frame's headtube is compatible with the tapered steerer tube and that your bike's geometry is designed for a 170 mm travel fork.

The spring rate on this model is fixed as 'Firm.' If you find the stock spring is too soft or too stiff for your riding weight or style, you will need to purchase a different weight coil spring separately to swap into the fork.

Generally, coil forks are lower maintenance because they lack air seals that can leak over time. You will still need to perform regular lower-leg service to keep the seals lubricated and the wipers clean, but you won't need to worry about checking air pressure before every ride.
