Origin8 Stem Riser

This riser is designed specifically for bicycles with a 1 1/8-inch threadless steerer tube. If your bike uses a different steerer size, such as 1-inch or tapered, this adapter will not be compatible.

The Origin8 Stem Riser offers a fixed rise of 105mm. It includes a set of spacers, allowing you to fine-tune the exact height of your handlebars within that range to find your most comfortable riding position.

Installation is straightforward if you are comfortable with basic bike maintenance. You will need to remove your current stem, slide the riser onto the steerer tube, and then reattach your stem to the top of the riser. If you are unsure about adjusting your headset or stem, a local bike shop can handle this quickly.

The riser weighs 200 grams. While it does add a small amount of weight, the trade-off is a significantly more comfortable, upright riding position that can make longer rides much more enjoyable.

It depends on how much slack you currently have in your cables. Because this riser lifts your handlebars by 105mm, your existing cables may become too short. You should check your cable housing length before installation, as you may need to replace them with longer versions to accommodate the new height.
