Box One Brake Cable Kit

This kit uses a specific concentric housing design wrapped in aramid fiber, which prevents the housing from compressing under heavy braking force. This results in a much firmer, more responsive lever feel compared to standard coiled housing.

It is designed specifically for BMX setups using linear brake systems. Because it includes a generous 2006.5 mm of housing, you will have plenty of length to trim it to fit almost any standard BMX frame size.

The PTFE coating acts as a dry lubricant, significantly reducing friction as the cable slides through the housing. This creates a smoother, lighter lever pull that stays consistent even after the cable has been used for a while.

Unlike plastic ferrules, which can deform or crack under pressure, these anodized aluminum ferrules maintain their shape and minimize drag at the contact points. This ensures the cable moves freely and maintains the integrity of your braking system.

You will need a high-quality cable cutter designed specifically for bicycle housing and inner wires to ensure a clean, non-frayed cut. Standard wire cutters or pliers will likely crush the housing and ruin the performance of the linear wires.
