While these tires are optimized for race-day performance, they are durable enough for regular training rides. However, because they prioritize speed and weight savings, you may find that they wear faster than heavier, more robust training tires.

The single-layer SRC casing is designed to be supple rather than fragile. While it offers a very lightweight and efficient ride, it is paired with Race Shield puncture protection to provide a necessary layer of defense against road debris.

These tires are specifically engineered as a tubeless system. While it is technically possible to use them with an inner tube, you will lose the primary benefits of the tubeless design, such as lower rolling resistance and the ability to run lower pressures for better grip.

The RR-S compound is formulated to provide excellent grip in corners, which helps maintain confidence on wet roads. That said, as a slick race tire, it is best suited for dry to damp conditions rather than heavy rain or standing water.

The Carbon/Kevlar composite bead is designed to be strong and secure, which can sometimes make the initial installation slightly tighter than a standard folding bead. Using a proper tire lever and ensuring the bead is seated in the center channel of your rim will make the process much easier.
