Total Team Mid Bottom Bracket

A Mid bottom bracket is the standard size for most modern BMX frames, featuring a 41mm shell diameter. Before purchasing, verify that your frame is specifically designed for a Mid BB, as it will not fit frames requiring Euro or Spanish bottom brackets.

The size you need is determined entirely by the spindle diameter of your current crankset. You must match the bottom bracket size to your cranks, so check your crank manufacturer's specifications before ordering.

The Total Team Mid BB uses high-quality sealed bearings, which are designed to be durable and low-maintenance. While they aren't meant to be opened and repacked, they are standard-sized bearings that can be easily replaced if they eventually wear out.

The kit includes the bearings and the necessary spacers to ensure your cranks are properly aligned and free of play. You will need a standard bottom bracket press tool or a mallet and a bearing installation tool to seat them into your frame correctly.

While the alloy finish looks clean, the CNC machining process ensures precise tolerances for a perfect fit inside your frame's bottom bracket shell. This precision helps prevent the bearings from shifting or creaking during hard riding.
